    It's that time again! What time? Time to make your reservations for this year's Annual Sheriff’s Department Chaplaincy Program Fundraising Banquet! The date is March 8, 2013. This will be our 19th Annual Banquet! It will be held again at the beautiful Madison Park Church of God located at 6607 Providence Dr. Anderson, IN by I-69. Registration will be at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. Be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible and a table or seat will be reserved just for you or your group. The cost is $20.00 per person and a table of 10 will be $200.00. So invite your friends and reserve a table .....About our speaker Rev. Anthony L. Hopgood, Sr. Pastor at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Shelbyville, Tennessee Reverend Anthony L. Hopgood, Sr. was born on August 6, 1962 in Madison County, Anderson, Indiana. He attended Anderson, Indiana public school system until graduating from Madison Heights High School in 1980. It was 1975, under the spiritual leadership of the late Reverend Dr. J. T. Menifee that he professed a hope in Christ and was baptized into the body believers at the Anderson Zion Baptist Church of Anderson, Indiana. Reverend Hopgood became the president of the alumni group, Madison County Drug Court Program under the leadership of the late Honorable Judge David Hopper, Kathy Knox and Van Hudson in 2002-03. Pursuing the direction of God he soon moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he enrolled at the American Baptist Theological Seminary in January of 2004. He graduated in 2006 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Bible/Theology, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastoral Studies in 2008. Reverend Hopgood served as Assistant Adjutant to the Bishop M. L. Graves, Sr., Executive Director of The A.M.O.S. Ministry, (addiction ministry of substance abuse), a Bible Study Facilitator at Samaritan Ministry. read more...
